No bitching or complaining, but long story short, I'm sitting about 10 lbs. heavier than my lowest weight of 128.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nI can give you all the excuses in the world for why it happened, but instead I'm moving forward and doing something about it!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: large;\"\u003EI had enough!\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWorkouts are still happening but not as often and intense as I would like.\u0026nbsp; Working with other personal trainers helps a ton because we'll usually pair up to workout (workout buddies!!) but I still find myself making excuses to why I can't do an extra 20 minutes of cardio or why I HAVE to go out to buy my lunch.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nBut no more!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nI'm not making any promises about how often I'll be blogging but\u0026nbsp;I AM making a promise that health and fitness are back to being \u003Cu\u003E\u003Cem\u003Emy number one priorities\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/u\u003E.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nTo get my eating back on track, I'm following an awesome diet plan,\u0026nbsp;made by an awesome woman, whose concept and ideas behind the plan are things I strongly believe in.\u0026nbsp; Well it's not that I didn't know it, I just\n didn't listen to it. They (I) set up goals and picture themselves as what they want\n to look like at the end of the journey but they forget about the \njourney itself.  \u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\nIt's like \nplanning a trip.   You decide you wanna go to Fitville and you plan all \nthese must-do-activities for when you get there: where to eat, where to \nstay, what to visit, what to do but without even planning on how to get \nto Fitville, you'll never get there.  Without knowing how you're going \nto get from your house to the airport, then from the airport to the \nhotel in Fitville, your goal is already impossible to accomplish.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\nThis is exactly the same thing with weight loss.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\nIt's\n awesome to know what you want your body to look like and do when you're\n at the end of the journey (btw, a weight-loss journey never ends... \ntakes you straight to Maintenance Land!) but you also have to know how \nto get there.  Going back to when I started out, I knew what my goal \ndestination was but getting there was going to be the tricky part.  I \nset weekly and monthly goals to help me along the way but that's like \nonly planning the airplane ride then the car ride from the airport to \nFitville.  What about how to get from my house to the airport?!\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\nThe\n past four days have made me realize that my weekly\/monthly goals are \nway more attainable if I break them down even further... into daily \ngoals.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\nBRILLIANT!!\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\nIt's as simple as \ntelling myself I just need to get through today - eat clean TODAY and \nget in a good workout TODAY.  Don't worry about tomorrow today, worry \nabout tomorrow when it gets here.  By breaking down my goals to the \nsmallest amounts possible not only makes the goal seem that much more \nachievable, but it also lets me see the goal... I mean \u003Cspan style=\"font-style: italic;\"\u003Ereally\u003C\/span\u003E see it!\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\nCurrently\n my weight goal is about 20 lbs away.  Instead of focusing on the entire\n 20 lbs. I'll focus on just the next two lbs., then the next two, then \nthe next two and so on and so on.  But instead of just focusing on the \ntwo lbs. I'll focus on what I need to do to get rid of those two lbs.  \nI'll focus on my workouts each day and break it down even further and \nfocus on pushing myself during the workouts.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003E\nJust get \nthrough the next 5 minutes of running and when I've done that, I'll \nfocus on the next 5 minutes.  If I'm able to really give it my all for \neach 5 minute increment and just repeat it, my workout will go by in no \ntime and I'll probably have pushed myself harder than normal.
