Friday
One of the scariest days ever!
While he was at work, Anthony texted me that they had just been robbed at knife and gun point! WTF?! He was gonna be home later than normal since the police were there taking statements and pulling fingerprints (since the dumbass robber touched several areas in the restaurant).
It didn't even happen to me but when I got the text, I was pretty shook up... I mean, things could have gone really bad. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Saturday
Went hiking...
Got some froyo after hiking...
Why yes, that is a big piece of red velvet cake on my froyo.
Gave these girls a much needed bath...
Sunday
Went for an early morning walk followed by a gym session...
Celebrated a cutie's first birthday...
Went grocery shopping...
This is about 3% of everything we bought.
Cooked dinner for the week...
Doesn't look super appetizing, but this veggie chicken soup is yummy!
Hope you had a good weekend, too!

I always love your hiking pictures so much. I've been to Oahu, Kauai and and Maui, but we had very little time and concentrated on seeing the islands rather than hiking. Sure hope to return one of these days!
Scary thing being robbed. My daughter worked at Game Stop for about two weeks when they were robbed at gun point. She never went back. The soup looks delicious.
I don't know how I'd deal with my fury over someone threatning the life of someone I love, let alone stealing from them. That kind of anger can eat away at a person. I guess it's always best to stop and reflect on the fact that he's unharmed and life goes on...because that isn't always how these incidents end up. Man, I bet it can fuel some great kicks/jabs/punches next time you workout though - picturing the creep who threatened Anthony's life.
I'd love to get the recipe for that soup! It looks like gazpacho w/ chicken in it. How yummy would that be?!?!
Oh my gosh! I am soo glad that Anthony is okay. That is truly terrifying for you and him. It could have been worse, but thankfully, it wasn't.
Your girls are so cute. That reminds me...my little turds need baths pronto lol
That soup does look pretty good, actually! :)
I hope you have a great week.

I just found you blog and figured I should leave a comment because you have had such an amazing transformation! Your before and after picture results are amazing. Now on to this specific post, I loved the first picture with the trees connecting over the top of the path! I wish I was there on that trail.
