So now I'm pissed

You know, I just cannot believe the kind of support that happens in this blogging community... it's absolutely priceless and if I could, I'd give you all a great big hug!

I hope you all know that I don't write self-pitty posts to get attention or to make everyone feel bad for me.  I write them because it's something that happens to me and this is MY journey and MY blog so I'll write whatever the hell I want!

I got an anonymous comment on yesterday's post that said:
"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS WRITE ABOUT THE CRAPPY THINGS THAT HAPPEN TO YOU? GET OVER IT! IT'S NO WONDER YOUR STILL FAT.  YOU DON'T LOSE WEIGHT BY STUFFING YOUR FACE AND THEN CRYING ABOUT IT."
  Yeah... so now I'm pissed!

I know a lot of bloggers don't like to write the self-pitty post and I never understood that... I write them all the time (obviously!).  My comment to someone who writes about a shitty day and then apologizes about writing about it always goes along the lines of:
"This is your journey and your documentation of something that's not only important to you, but is life changing.  Don't let what others think have any effect on how you feel.  I use my own blog to chronicle not only my physical health, but emotional as well because that's just as important.  Plus, going back and seeing how one bad day affected my entire week is motivating and kinda powerful... so write what you wanna write! It's your journey!"
So to you, Mr. Chicken-shit Anonymous Commenter, get a life and stop crapping on mine.  I assume you have the "solution" to perfect health and fitness or you wouldn't be able to say the things you did and if it's true that you are perfect in your journey, then please make yourself un-anonymous because I would really like to meet you and find out what that "solution" is.  Seriously... you will be my hero! I'll be waiting for your response in my mailbox...

Gross. "Tough Love" is one thing... being a DB is another. And the anonymous stuff is crap. If you've got something to say, show your face to it.

I'm glad you post what you are actually dealing with... because reading blogs that are all sunshine and roses don't help - or make me feel worse that I'm doing something wrong if I do have bad days.

Keep up the good REAL work.

OH AND BTW, you are NOT fat!

Ditto to what Nora said!

What is it with anonymous comments these days?

Good grief!

I hope you have a GREAT weekend!

You tell him, girl!!! I think the anonymous commenting option needs to be eliminated anyways. It's not fair that cruel people can come onto your blog and attack you! I'm sorry that happened to you :(

That's bullshit. Coward! I had one of those a while ago. The comment they left me was "You sound fat". Thanks a lot dipshit. I actually tried to take it as constructive cricism and reframe it to learn from its meaning rather than take offense to it.

You know your journey, you know your heart....do what feels right to you. If Mr. Anonymous Chicken Shit doesn't like it, he/she can stop reading. The rest of us are here for you.

I've always had anonymous postings blocked on my blogspot settings. If you aren't willing to show yourself, I don't really have much interest in what you have to say.

Wow, I am SO over these ANON jerks.

First of all, you are NOT fat! And c'mon you've lost 40+ pounds! You are amazing!

I feel your pain, trust me. Maybe my recent anon comment and yours are the same person - some coward hiding behind an anonymous comment.

I told my anon to reach out to me too... of course, they didn't.

Keep on keepin' on! You are terrific!

sing it sister!! its your blog and you can write whatever you want to!!

glad you recognize what a jerk this commenter was and you know that you can write whatever the hell you feel like!

How rude some ppl can be! Everyone has a bad day and its in those times that we need the most encouragment from our support groups. If everything were perfect all of the time none of us would be here... and Im sorry how boring is it to write "Im perfect, I had yet another prefect day! Isnt that just... perfect?" :)))

Im glad for one that you write what you are really feeling. What you are really going through. It helps others who read it, and the comments left in support, through our own difficult times and similar situations :) Keep it up, "good" day or "bad"!

You are not fat! It is your blog and you can chose to write what you want.

Screw em Annie! I am with Kyle, I have my settings marked so they can't post anonymously. There have been a rash of rude commenters lately - I wonder why so many lately.

WE LOVE YOU and your blog whether the post is upbeat or crappy. So, try not letting it get to you. They plain ass suck and YOU ROCK my dear! xoxo

P.S. I have made it a personal rule not to apologize for anything that I write on my blog and it has worked for me thus far...

We are all dealing with real life while we lose weight, so sharing our bad days and what gets us through them helps others who may be going through the same thing. So don't change a thing...especially for someone who didn't even have the guts to put their name to it. You are awesome!

I can't believe the nerve of some people. Not only ignorant but a coward not to leave a name! I've had a few comments like that too which is why I approve all comments to my blog.

You didn't deserve that, I'm going to arrange a super sonic spike to toast that ignorant son of a b$#%^'s computer right now. :D

Not only that... it is important for people to know that these journeys that we are on are not all roses and candles, you know, its important for people to know that from time to time we hit road blocks and sometimes we default to behaviours that we are used to. I used to only write on good days but now I realize that people need to see it all, they need to know that we are not perfect because people ARENT perfect, nobody is!!

Fitness Club Fiasco call themselves a four-piece synth pop jungle-gym. We’re not quite sure what that is but we imagine it involves casiotonic vine swinging monkeys sitting on exercise bikes. What we do know about Fitness Club Fiasco however is that they have a professional landscaper in their midst and some origins in Canada, but are now based in Bristol, UK. They’ve already picked up radio play through Steve Lamacq of BBC6 Music and Rob Da Bank on Radio 1 with their debut single Forest City.Forest City is slightly cheesy yet sprightly synth-pop song. A simple feet twitching nugget, it comes complete with charmingly weak nasal vocals straight out of the Neil Tennant Pet Shop Boys camp, hooky girlish backing singing, handclap samples and chirpy zooming keyboard sounds. There’s a slightly Postal Service vibe to their sound, but luckily that influence doesn’t end up with them sounding like the abominable Owl City. Fitness Club Fiasco have also been having some fun attempting to create their own d-i-y flash mob in their hometown (see video below) which brings a happy clapping vibe to desolate shopping centres.

WOW!! I cannot believe someone would say that. Your journey is your journey and that's all there is to it!

WOW! Yeah, I could kick someone's butt now. Perfect response and you always get two thumbs up from me.

I absolutely love your post today. You go girl! Tell that dude to come on over to my site and post a comment so I can hammer him too!

And if Mr. C.S. doesn't like your blog, why is he reading it? Duh! Stupid head. (something my kids might say) :D

Anyway, the majority of people reading your blog want to help and encourage, I'm sure. Not to mention, we can all learn from each other's good and bad days.

Blog your heart, not what anonymous peeps want to read.

way to call him /her out.... awesomeness. If there was a one size fits all solution to losing weight, someone would be might rich by now. Screw them, and keep up the good work!

Anonymous is an ass. If they had anything constructive or helpful to say they would have the balls to sign their name to it and own it.

I love reading blogs of people who are honest and it's comforting to know I'm not the only one who struggles sometimes.

Pay no attention to the ass behind the anonymous curtain.
