Motivational Monday: Lift HEAVY

I'm on my trip right now but here's something interesting (I hope):

This is so true!  Most women people think that lifting heavy weights will make you "bulky".  It's just not chemically/hormonally possible for women!

Lift heavy to get a lean, muscular body!

Hi Annie! Well, my arm muscles are actually like the top girl's muscles. But I am a woman who had muscle definition before ever exercising in the gym. I have huge muscles. But what do you expect from a woman who uses 40 pound dumbbells for bicep curls?!!!!

And, most women, as you explain, are not prone to bulky muscle. It depends on body type. No woman will get like Arnold S, ever. I know guys who are praying to look like Arnold and it doesn't even happen for them. And it's always the women with the least muscle definition and smallest muscles who are somehow scared of this. I always tell them, if you don't like the muscles, you can let them atrophy back down again! :D

But, I have to say, the handsome buff guys at the gym have nothing but good stuff to say about my biceps. They think my arms are awesome! Even some of my friends said that their husbands commented that they should try to get arms like mine.

Plus - your diet would have to be insane to get that body building type of body, right?

Hahaha! That is a great pic! I'm so glad I got over this bulky nonsense and starting lifting! I haven't bulked up to hulk-girl yet :)
