I want to give up but...

I have worked too hard to let this go.
I have run too many miles to come to a halt.
I have curled too much weight to give up.
I have hiked too many mountains to throw it away.

I have too much pride to discontinue my journey.
I have too much strength to slow down.
I have too many dreams to quite like this.
I have too much self-belief to stop now.

I can't stop. I won't stop.

Hey Annie - The lack of motivation visits us all from time to time. Especially after being so committed to your fitness goals for such a long time. I was struggling a few weeks ago and signed up for a race. Boom! Mojo was back because I had an event with a tangible date that I needed to be ready for. You seem to really enjoy running, maybe find a local 5k or 10k to get you going again? Or you can stop by my blog and I can yell at you to HTFU (-;

You are doing awesome! Love your "poem".. I love your points system! I should give it a try... maybe it would help to motivate me some. I sooooo need all the motivation I can get. I've really been slacking lately again. I'm just glad that the maintenance part is still in check though... Keep up the great work!

You can do it! I know how it feels to not want to keep going. It stinks. You are such an inspiration, keep it up!

I know how you feel. I often workout twice a day. I always try to do my main workout first thing in the morning so I make it gets done.

Thank you for writing that poem - it was something I really needed to hear today. *SQUISHES* You're right, we've worked too hard to reach this point. There's only one life to live so we should make it the best one! Keep going!! I know the finish line seems far away, but if you just take it one step at a time, you're bound to get there eventually. :)

Loved that. Really hit home for me. Couldn't have read the words at a better time. Thanks so much.
