Day 11/30: Thanks parents, for this awesome food find!

As far as the challenge goes, still on track but went way over on cals today. Making up for it tomorrow with two workout sessions so we'll see if I can hold on to that sweet weigh-in I had yesterday! More food, family, and good times tomorrow and Monday so it'll be tough...

On another note...

My parents are big time snackers and the other weekend I was over at their place and they had a container of chocolate covered almonds on their counter. No biggie since I wasn't tempted by the 'evil' chocolate but when I took a better look... it was cocoa covered almonds! Not fully processed chocolate.

Buy your's at Sam's Club TODAY!

I quickly turned the container over to read the nutrition facts and and it was good!

Almonds are a staple in my diet right now, usually raw and unsalted, but these are perfect for satisfying my chocolate/sweet cravings!

Thank you, parents!

Thanks for your nice comments. Your support means a lot. I know what you mean about almost being at goal weight, but I have this passion running through my blood and I will, I repeat: I WILL Lose these last 15 this year. Loving the journey :)

Yum ! Those Cocoa Almonds are amazing !! They taste like they are bad ...... but they're not ! What could be better ! I need to see if I can find them in a huge container like that. No Sam's Club in my area but I will take a look at BJ's ! :)

Those ARE yummy! I have bought a smaller container at Walmart, and now they can be found anywhere! I, like Shelly, buy the 100 calorie packs ~ not for the 100 calorie factor, but for the accountability on portions. I have to be careful with nuts ~ they tend to stall me weightloss wise, and after too many I have some tummy distress.

Those almonds are delicious! I tried them when I was in the US this summer, a woman approached my mom in Target and started raving about them, saying how they helped her lose lots of weight as they boosted her metabolism. My mom bought them because we have hypothyroidism- some weird coincidence, right? :) But they are amazing. So good for you too!

I have given you an Over the Top Award, Annie. The details are on my blog. Thanks for being such an inspiration!

Well, I found something new to add to the shopping list - I loooove the carb/protein balance with the fiber...such low-glycemic goodness! Awesome find, mom and dad! Thanks for sharing!
