I have to come clean!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
I had a half-Christmas because I was away from home for the holidays and just got back yesterday. So I'm having the other half of my Christmas later today and I'll be back with pictures and updates.
Now back to our regular scheduled program.

Over the last few days I've rekindled a lost relationship with someone I love, but HATE. We've had a relationship for Y.E.A.R.S. but about a year ago, I called everything off and made a new person of myself... but over the last few days, it started again.

The sneaking around.

The late-night visits.

The short-lived passions.

The guilt!
But no more! Food, I'm breaking up with you for good!

I've had an affair with you for forever and I'm tired of cheating on myself with you! It's not worth it. You're not worth it! All the time and hard-work I've spent at the gym last week was undone in three days. Three days!

From now on I refuse to live my life according to your demands so be prepared to do it my way or no way at all!

"I'm tired of cheating on myself with you!"

I think that sums it up pretty well.

The truth is that food is like a bad love affair. It feels so good , but it's just so wrong. And the after math, oh it's so not worth it.

Hey, are we both cheating with the same person? :)

Love this, and I am going through the same thing. UGH. Sad almost, to say goodbye! LOL BUT IT HAS TO BE DONE!

It's so true that our relationship with food can mimic our romantic relationships...our relationship with our career...etc. Ending a bad dynamic with food will certainly have repercussions in other areas of your life!

You said it!

The days of Christmas stirred up some bad habits for me as well. Cleaning out the house tonight...anything the husband wants he has to take to work tomorrow. lol

Best wishes!

So true...

"Hello everyone, my name is Kyle and I'm a foodaholic"...

"Hello Kyle!"...

"I've been food-sober since 11/14/09..."

you get the idea...

I like your re-commitment! You are inspiring me. I started another round of P90X while I finish my last 3 weeks of Insanity.

Yep...add me to that same list. Very disappointing. BUT, we're on the right path NOW! Way to go!

Good luck with this. I've tried to do the whole break up thing several times. It WON'T LET ME GO! aughhhh.....
I swear....desserts practically handcuff me and shove themselves down my throat. It's a crime I tell ya! ;o)
