So why was my workout today the best E.V.E.R?
Because I got it done!
Because I got it done!
No seriously!
All day long I had P90X on the brain because at my Tuesday PT session, we did heavy weights instead of plyo so I was craving more. I knew exactly what I wanted to do before lunch time even came around:
P90X Chest, Shoulders, and Tris + ARX.
I loves me a good upper body workout and knew CST would do it!
I loves me a good upper body workout and knew CST would do it!
But this is what happened when I got home:
5:00 - got home and played with the dog a bit
5:30 - threw on my workout clothes and put in P90X
5:35 - fast-forwarded through the entire dvd to get reacquainted with Tony
5:37 - fell asleep
5:58 - woke up
5:59 - said SCREW IT! and changed out of my workout clothes
6:00 - watched two episodes of 'Friends' (love that show!)
6:50 - said SCREW IT! again and threw on my workout clothes
6:52 - HIT PLAY!
8:10 - jumped on the elliptical for even MORE exercise
So that's why it was my best workout ever. I rarely get the motivation to workout once I don't wanna do it but not today! I've been so on-track with exercise, eating, calories in and calories out that I was crazy to NOT wanna workout. YAY ME!

Seriously Annie! Congratulations! That is a seriously HUGE work-out!
Welcome to my day too! I feel like all day I've been looking forward to exercising, looking for an excuse to get those minutes in, and lots of on again off again ups and downs. But in the end, it all got done :)
Good luck this weekend!
You got the itch that needs scratching!
That is a true indication that you've switched from having to workout to lose weight, to wanting to workout because it is a part of who you are now.
Awesome!

Annie - girl...YOU GO! That's one hell-of-a workout! Great job! I get to work the upper body & do ABR this evening when I get home from work! Can't wait! Yesterday was my "rest" day & I felt all day like I should be working out! It was making me stir crazy!!! But great job!
Go - Annie - Go!
Good for you! I give you credit, it's hard to workout when you already have it set in your mind to forget it!
I am thinking of trying P90X soon. I did it once last year and didn't love it. But I read in Women's Health Magazine that Pink does it! She doesn't use a trainer (can you beleive it?) but her body is .... well I'm sure you've seen it! It made me want to give it a try! What I wanted to ask you is, how long did it take you to perfect it? Are you able to do an unassisted pull up? Or do you use the modified resistence band version of the exercise?
I have to admit I am intimidared by the whole workout, but I think it may be just the challenge I need this year. I'd love to hear your input! Thanks!
Bonjour I'd love to thank you for such a terrific quality forum!
I was sure this is a nice way to make my first post!
Sincerely,
Johnie Maverick
