CLX/P90X Hybrid: Day 12-22


WOW! I gotta get better at updated my 90-day journey!

Since I have so much to catch up on, this is gonna be a drive by posting... AGAIN.

Day 12: OFF
Day 13: 60 min walk
Day 14: 90 min full-body workout (serious yard work!)
Day 15: 60 min walk
Day 16: P90X + Intervals
Day 17: 45 min run
Day 18: CLX B2 + core work on stability ball
Day 19: 45 min run
Day 20: 90 min walk + upper body workout
Day 21: 100 min hike + core work on stability ball
Day 22: 75 min Jillian Michaels dvd+ elliptical

I just read in Women's Health Magazine that Pink does P90X. Have you seen the body on that girl? She said she doesn't have a trainer because she doesn't work well with others. Hmmmmm....... I may have to try it again!

Thanks for putting the pressure on! I really really appreciate it! I just did 30 min strength training, and going for a 30 min run as soon as DH gets home - not waiting around until after dinner when I'll be too tired. Day one.

Annie... you are starting off 2010 on the right foot.

Btw, I have a question, do you find that you have clashes with CLX and P90X when working out the muscle groups. In other words, do you have days when both workouts include the same muscle group or let's say, you have a biceps workout with P90X and then you have to do biceps the next day with CLX... how do you handle days like that where it may make it difficult to recover? I have days like that when I do Insanity and P90X. If I am doing P90X chest and back I don't do too many Insanity push-ups that day.

@Annalisa - Yup, start bringing it girl!

@Boomer - Right now I do all CLX weight lifting and only use cardio/plyo from P90X. CLX is a full-body workout so a lot of times my lower body workouts double up (CLX one day and plyo the next). For those days I do like you... just back off or substitute something else for a particular move/muscle. Keep crushing play Boomer... you're such an inspiration!

You're off to a great start for 2010.

No, we haven't left yet. We'll be in Oahu from the 12th-18th.

My husband and I are going to do some hiking too! I was doing some research but was curious if can recommend some beginner-intermediate trails. We'll be staying at the Waikiki Wave...so looking for things in that general area. I saw the Maikiki Valley Loop is a good one.
