(The list of "31 Days of Reasons" is not in any particular order)
If you don't have it, guarantee you at least know someone who does.
Diabetes is a disease that seems to be taking over America (along with a ton more diseases), with the number of affected Americans steadily increasing every year. Per Dr. Google, a normal reading for a fasting plasma glucose test is about 70 mg/dL - 99 mg/dL. My last reading (done this past August) sits at 94 mg/dL. Way to close to the edge for me!
Fortunately for me, there are some risks factors that I can control like eating right and exercising.
Unfortunately for me, diabetes runs in my family, my ethnicity is considered a "higher risk" group, AND and I'm overweight (but working on it).
I'm on this healthy journey to battle against a disease that affects over 25 million Americans.

I was warned by my doctor that I was borderline too...so far, so good...and you'll beat the odds too.
